This guy’s place is plain old haunted.  I am not sure what occurred to make events in his home behave in this manner but I found it totally disturbing. I find it impossible to explain the moving doors and the apparent traffic in and out of his place, but his dogs are obviously not comfortable with whatever it is that’s happening.  Watching his attic door open and shut is some chilling video, especially since the dogs are also scared by the action.  The static increase in his radio seems to announce another poltergeist situation and, sure enough, it gets delivered.  This is scary and bizarre stuff, all made inside a modern urban home.

This one is super creepy. This guy seems to be a fairly normal dude – a man with a camera, living in an average modern home. He comes into the house with a scared animal on his hands – a dog that will not leave his new spot, under the bed.  The dog is obviously scared by something or other and is utterly reluctant to leave his sanctuary.  The guy then hears something rattling and goes into his attic to investigate. As he pans the camera, nothing happens, so he sets the camera down and explores in front of the lens.  Suddenly, a can is knocked over and he flees, scared to hell.  The camera stays, however, and the next scenes are amazing and chilling. This would almost testify loud and clear to poltergeist activity in a modern home.  Just stunningly creepy stuff here, made to scare the heck out of normal folks. It sure worked on me!

This is some amazing footage taken by an dubious family of regular folks who had seen these ephemeral images before but who finally caught them on tape with their own camera.  Their dialogue is fascinating as they study the weird movements of what has to be some ghostly images walking or riding back and forth in a forest outside their home. The expressions of surprise by the guy make this film pretty delicious, especially inasmuch as we can also see exactly what he sees. The images flitting about in the forest most definitely become apparent and obvious, taking on a ghostly visage we can only wonder about. Incredible stuff here, as we get the same chills they express.

This is an incredibly creepy bit of film made more so by the normalness of the location – a modern kitchen.  While normal activity goes on outdoors, we watch as the tension develops and poltergeist activity seems to take off, right before our eyes. The stationary camera lends a tension to the events that makes cups rattling, moving with no apparent human help, suddenly so stiking in its stark surprise.  If one were to capsulize poltergeist activity in modern times, this footage could be the best testament imaginable. It’s truly weird how those cups seem to move on their own, motivated by some unseen hand or impulse.  Weird and creepy, for sure.

There are huge arguments over whether or not many of the more famous ghost pictures are somehow “super imposed” onto film or whatnot.  To me, this argument is valid because there are many folks who delight in fooling others and scaring them.  Having said that, the various “hauntings” of famous and some not-so-famous locations and their widespread acknowledgment by standard newspapers and reportage would indicate that not all things of this nature are fake.  Thwere have been numerous ghost sightings at a wide number of locations,all verified by reporters of these events who are not all crazy as hell. The bottom line is we will never know how many are real and how many are fake.  The other bottom line is that those which are not fake, offer a glimpse into a realm that is hardly studied.

These photos, taken by a real Medium, reflect yet more mysteriousness.  Naturally, she is accustomed to such weirdnesses, so they surprised her very little.  Imagine you or I taking pictures where ghosts materialize magically on screen or on film, later. Many pictures are indeed taken by regular folks like us, an overwhelming number of which seem to be all the more real for their exceptionalness.  Ghosts and spirits do not just perform for Mediums and psychics. They seem to have a special affinity for the naive, it turns out, surprising and sometime scaring us with theur sheer strangeness. The dead seem to have much to say if we can but hear them.  Of course, not all of them have such simple reasons for their existence, but that is another story altogether.

Isn’t it bizarre and just a bit eerie how these images strike us so deeply and so mysteriously?  Watching these ephemeral and whispy creatures slide in and out of focus – on camera, no less – reminds us of how little we really know of the world around us, doesn’t it? Growing up in rural America, there was much talk about ghosts and psychic phenomena. It just seemed nearly everyone has their own tale of themselves or friends having “close enconters” with the spirit world. My initial impression was not to even question their existence, it was that solid in fact, constantly borne out by the claims of homeowners and others concerning their “visitors”. The truly wierd and compelling part of it all was that there were so many suspicious or tragic events tied to them all.

Weirdness romps as our hero taking this footage gets his ass pretty doggone scared by some obviously unusual and unprovoked events taking place right in front of his eyes and in front of the camera. Items get moved, drawers opened unaided, as if pulled by an invisible hand as the camera records it all.  This is some most bizarre stuff!  The guy is humorous, in a way, as his mutters can be heard, along with his palpable fear.  Hey, things happening like this are not supposed to happen.  As we watch, a bed gets overturned, right in front of the lens of the rolling camera, as if unaided and totally moved by unseen hands. This stuff is especially creepy when he exclaims and jumps as another item gets turned over as if by magic.

The very real panting and palpable fear of the cameraman add to the utter weirdness and surprising strength of believability of this astounding footage of real poltergeist activity. As he=is breath shortens ans we hear him panting in fear, events take on a world of their own, acting unaided by anything visible and rearranging pictures, ash trays cups and saucers, right in front of our eyes. The exceedingly fearful cameraperson gasps audivly as events pick up speed.  Something – or someone – is definitely scaring this dude, for real.  Hey, I can sure see why.  This is some very extreme footage of poltergeist activity and not for the faint of heart.

The question aroused by this footage is this:  Are spirits and possibly ghosts trying to contact us and get our attention? If so, are they also proscribed by their situations into such helplessness that all they can do is move a few things now and then? What other reason could there be when we watch as closet doors move unaided and things rattle around on their own, apparently not guided with human help? Also, what are they wanting? The events shown in this video are eerie and weird.  Things move on their own in front of the rolling camera, as if someone were doing their thing, oblivious to us or else, maybe not.  Maybe they want our attention, after all. These poltergeist events are easily among the most mysterious things we know…..or don’t.
